What You'll Do

Serving in Nicaragua

Your Week

A Typical Mission Trip

Sample Schedule Only, Each Team's Schedule is Developed with Team Leadership

Day 1: Arrival

Flight arrives, clear customs, and depart to León. Settling in on campus, dinner, and EA/HCN orientation.

Day 2: Church & Ministry

Attend a local church, provide VBS to community children, tour León, and prepare for the week's ministry.

Days 3-6: Service

Construction, children's ministry, home/community visits, and/or community outreach.

Day 7: Tour Day

Cerro Negro Volcano hike, Masaya Market, or other site. Spend the night in Managua.

Day 8: Departure

The hotel shuttle will take you to the airport for your return.

Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

A typical week-long trip runs approximately $1,000 per person, which covers all lodging, security, meals, transportation, translators, and "basic" mission projects. Airfare is not included and runs $900. Bigger mission projects will increase the cost.

El Ayudante made our mission trip seamless and deeply meaningful. The connections we made with the children and families will stay with us forever. We can't wait to come back.
